Description
spore length: 3.5 - 4.5 microns; spore width: 1.5 - 2 microns; spore shape: sausage shaped; spore texture: smooth with two oil droplets; spore color: clear; spore print color: white. The color, form, and texture of this species make it a distinctive mushroom. This mushroom is fused in sheets, but individual fungi discrete with observable limits; circular, raised with ridges and warts, sometimes fusing in rows radiating from point of attachment, with hairy margin. Close examination by Dr. Methven (see annotation above) confirmed that this specimen is Phlebia radiata.
