Description
spore length: 6 - 9 microns; spore width: 4 - 6 microns; spore shape: elliptical; spore texture: smooth, thich walled with pore at tip; spore color: clear; spore print color: white. Cap is coral red, slightly scaly with free gills and ring on the stalk. Close examination by Dr. Methven (see annotation above) combined with the 2015 DNA analysis confirmed that this specimen is Leucoagaricus rubrotinctus.
