Description
spore length: 18 - 19 microns; spore width: 10.5 - 12 microns; spore shape: lemon shaped to almond shaped; spore texture: slightly roughened; spore color: clear; spore print color: white. Close examination by Dr. Methven (see annotation above) combined with the 2015 DNA analysis confirmed that this specimen is Hymenopellis megalospora.
