Description
spore length: 10 microns; spore width: 6.5 microns; spore shape: elliptical; spore texture: smooth; spore color: clear; spore print color: white. Spores have 1 to 2 oil droplets. This specimen was verified by Jay Justice, Walt Sundberg and Andy Methven. Close examination by Dr. Methven (see annotation above) combined with the 2015 DNA analysis confirmed that this specimen is Amanita wellsii.
