Description
spore length: 7.5 microns; spore width: 4.5 microns; spore shape: elliptical; spore texture: smooth; spore color: clear; spore print color: light brown. This specimen was collected by Dawn Beckwith and identified by Jay Justice and Dr. Walt Sundberg. Close examination by Dr. Methven in 2015 (see annotation above) combined with the 2015 DNA analysis confirmed that this specimen is Tylopilus ballouii.
