Description
spore length: 7 - 11 microns; spore width: 4 - 6 microns; spore shape: sausage shaped; spore texture: smooth; spore color: clear; spore print color: n/d. Close examination by Dr. Methven (see annotation above) combined with the 2015 DNA analysis confirmed that this specimen is Tremellodendron schweinitzii. Tremellodendron pallidum (Burt, 1915) ia a later homonym. Tremellodendron schweinitzii dates to 1902.
