Field Char: Tree 35 m high, 1 m dbh; buttressed
and fluted to 3-4 m. Bark grayish, coarsely
flaking. Fruit glaucous green.
Notes: Trunkbark sample.
Locality: W Kalimantan Province, G. Bentuang
area; 10-15 km N of Masa village, 150 km NE of
Pontianak.
Habitat: West flank of G. Bentuang above
Bakunyit camp. Ridge Dipterocarp
forest on sandstone and yellow sandy
soils.
