Serawai. 8 Km NE of Desa Jelundung, Batu Lintang. 1 km S of camp along Gaharu & hunting trails. Lat.: 0 0 30 1 57.9 " S Long.: 112° 36' 7.1 * E Habitat Alt 135 m Mixed Dipterocarp forest, clay soil; associates include: Shorea, Knema, Lithocarpus, Artocarpus. Growing in disturbed primary forest, open area. Morphology: Small tree 4 m tall, 5 cm dbh. (Spotted growing at 22 m). Outer bark greyish, smooth. Leaves fleshy, dull green.
