Habitat	Alt 160 m
Mixed Dipterocarp forest, basalt soil; associates include:
Shorea, Knema, Lithocarpus, Artocarpus. Sloped hill.
Morphology:
Tree 12 m tall, 14 cm dbh. Outer bark dark reddish-brown,
smooth; inner bark red, sap clear. Leaves dull green. Fruit
yellow, aril orange.
