Vicinity of Wivenhoe Outlook, Rt. 31 (Northbrook
Parkway), to east along and on east side of mesic ridge,
Mt. Glorious, Brisbane Forest Park. South D’Aguilar
Range. Fertile moist loam and humus over
metamorphic-igneous rock.
Mesic to wet subtropical rainforest [moist to wet
sclerophyll forest with rainforest understory]
apparently dominated by Eucalyptus acmenoides,
Eucalyptus grandis, and E. biturbinata. Selectively
logged forest near top margin of slopes of ridgeline.
Little or no direct sunlight, apparently north-facing.
Fern, leathery single scaly frond, epiphytic on
Lepidozamia trunks. Rhizome long-creeping.
