Orientis Extremi Sovietici Russian Federation, Sakhalin Region: Central Iturup Island, Pacific Ocean side. Inland from northeastern part of Kasatka Bay. 45° 00' 34" N, 147° 43’ 12" E Sand dunes, approximately 1 kilometer from beach. Elymus mollis and Artemisia (not flowering) dominant. Breezy.
