BOTANICAL NEW YORK BOTANICAL GARDEN 03945101 BOLIVIA: Depto. Santa Cruz, Prov. Andres Ibanez, 12 km. E of center of Santa Cruz, on road to Cotoca. 17°46' 63°04 1 W. alt. 375 m. Subtropical, semi-deciduous "Chaco" forest, 4-8 m. tall, dense, spiny, briefly inun- dated in rainy season, very flat, the soil silty and fine sandy, with Bumelia obtusifolia Capparis tweediana, Reichenbachia hirsuta. Vine in shrubs at edge. Few leaves now. Flower' light yellow-green, very lightly fragrant. Coll.: M.
