Dense forest and adjacent 'campina' on poorly drained white-sand soils.

Description
Tree. Tree, 10 m tall, dbh 11 cm. Outer bark brown, rough, flaky; inner bark tan, oxidizing red. Most older leaves fallen or eaten by insects. Fruiting at ends of branchlets with immature leaves. Rare. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
