Quilillal, dry forest along the road 30km S across the Picota bridge crossing Rio Huallaga. Primary open forest 10 cm thick leaf layer and many large Ceiba trees. Large epiphyte growing in Bombacaceae. 'nestleafs' erect, grey-green, turning brown when older. Pendent leafs grey with the thick white indument. locally common, but a rare species in Peru.
