Inland from Vestnik Bay, on the east side of Kamchatka Peninsula,
at the north end of the bay.

Open area along old road, surrounded by low trees and shrubs of
Alnus, Betula, Pinus. Signs that area was burned. Empetrum
common.
Growing in isolated clumps. Florets bronze colored.
