m. Mixed deciduous forests with Betula, Cercidiphyllum,
Tetracentron, Lauraceae, Quercus, Acer, Lithocarpus, Carpinus,
Decaisnea,. Forest floor in dark, rich soil. Plants in clumps of
several-many sterile fronds and fewer fertile fronds.
