Coastal dunes formerly largely occupied by
residential neighborhoods, the houses removed
ca. 15 yrs. ago. Assoc. w/Croton californicus,
Camissonia cheiranthifolia, Abronia umbellata
& various persisting ornamentals. Fairly
common annual with prostrate branches depressed
by wind. On roadside. Subsite 39.
