Roadside, limestone gravel, desertscrub with Prosopis,
Vachellia vernicosa, Tiquilia, Bothriochloa, Xanthisma,
Bouteloua curtipendula, Aristida, Haploesthes greggii,
Yucca, Ziziphus, Porophyllum scoparium, Viguiera
stenoloba, Menodora scabra.
Erect sub-shrub, petals white, tips of banner and wings
purple! uncommon.
