Mesquite grassland, with Prosopis, Acacia, Cenchrus
spp., Mimosa, Acalypha, Evolvulus, Rhynchosia,
Waltheria, Anoda, Verbena, Cocculus, Chamaecrista,
Funastrum, Matelea, Convolvulus, Tetragonotheca
repanda.
Prostrate perennial, petals lemon yellow, foliage with
strong terpenoid odor,' occasional.
