prairie with scattered junipers, with Bouteloua, Yucca
glauca, Chaetopappa ericoides, Lithospermum incisum,
Erigeron, Lupinus, Oenothera lavanduliifolia,
Descurainia, Cirsi um.
Decumbent perennial, petals reddish-purple, the
banner spot white, fading reddish-purple; occasional.
