about 9 km (air) north-northwest of Watonga;

Eastern base of gypsum hill, on deep red clay,
juniper-grassland with Juniperus virginiana, Opuntia,
Pediomelum, Phacelia.
Caespitose perennial, 10 cm tall, petals blue-lavender
wings with magenta base, banner with central white
spot; locally common.
