A large cove at the southern end of Laguna Mandiore.
Separated from the main body of the lake by a narrow
spit of land. Elevation approximately 90 m. Center of
collecting: 18°13'38"S. 57°33'5"W.
Semi-aquatic grass. Abundant,
dominating much of this area.
Fertile. Habitat: large assemblages
of floating and emergent herbs and
emergent shrubs. Dominated by
Pasp alum repens and Oryza sp. with
scattered pockets of Pontederia
rotundifolia.
