SA H5 Flora of Bolivia Family: Eriocaulaceae Philodice hoffmannseggii Mart. Determined by: N. Ritter (NHA), 1998 Department of Santa Cruz Province of Velasco Seasonally inundated termite savanna, ca. 1.5 km west of the facilities at Flor de Oro. Elevation approximately 200 m. Approximate center of the collecting area: 13°33'33"S. 61°1T'W. Diminutive herb. Occasional. Growing in the center of a (seasonally inundated) dirt road that passes through the area. Fertile. Habitat: savanna dominated by a mix of grasses and sedges, with scattered islands of trees and shrubs.
