Fruit ellipsoid, L2-1.5 cm long, bright orange. Locality: Sumatra: Sekundur Forest Reserve, E. side of Gunung Leuser Natural Park, Langkat, Prov. of North Sumatra. Base camp at Aras Napal, upper Besitang River area. Habitat: Mixed lowland forest, almost primary; on undulating land. Well drained mixed sand-loam soil. Locally scattered cf.
