rare in low open mixed scrub with many
scattered solution pits.

Remarks Erect vertical branched shrub to 4 m
with whorled leaves up to 15 cm long. Fruit
born on a terminal panicle with usually less
than a dozen 5 mm diameter brown shiny fruits.
Growing exclusively in solution pits; often
with Ficus nautarum.
