"Bosque baja humedo tropical" (humid
tropical rainforest) at bottom of deep
valley along stream, dominated by gigantic
Ficus spp? and Moraceae, Sloanea and other
trees with plankroots, to 60 m tall and
2.5 m dbh. With thickets of Olyra, Lasiacis,
Rubiaceae in understory.(practically no
palms).
