Pingfang. 33°24’30"N; lllo53’30"E. Elevation 1250-1350 m.
Forest primarily of Quercus aliena var. acutiserrata on slopes
and in hollows, with Lindera obtusiloba\ frequently with dense
ground cover of Carex (no. 26376) or Convallaria keiskei.
Mixture of other deciduous trees, especially Acer, near streams.
Large colonies in semi-dry woods; old flowers white.
