It is found only in the mountains of Sierra Periji west of Saimadodyi. The soil is normally sandy dark brown, quite humid and rich in humus. Tropical environment with an annual average of 27°C temp. (at ISO m. of altitude) and 3500 mm. of rain with high humidity and a dry season from December IS till March IS (with rain at least once a week). Not used. Plant collected 8 km.
