Flora of Bolivia Family: Alismataceae Sagittaria rhombifolid Chamisso Determined by: Robert R. Haynes (UNA), 1997 Department of Santa Cruz Province of Velasco Parque Nacional Noel Kempff Mercado. "La Meseta" east of Los Fierros. Elevation: ca. 760 meters. Habitat: Clearwater stream. Submerged aquatic herb. Growing in pools in the arroyo. Frequent. Flowers unisexual. Corolla white with a burgundy center. Plants dioecious (?). Fruits present. The stream bottom varies from exposed bedrock to sand. Numerous small pools are present. Surrounding vegetation: Cerrado.
