ridge exposed to wind, with irregular cloud forest 10-15 m tall
of Quercus skinneri, diverse Lauraceae, Matayba apétala,
Laplacea grandis, Pithecellobium, Calophyllum, and much
Reinhardtia elegans in the understory.

Very abundant terrestrial fern.
Field-treated in Calzada’s solution (50%ethanol + scant formalin)
