City of Riverside. A 12 ft. high shrub cultivated in the
yard of H. Snyder, off Victoria Avenue. Grown from ma-
terial from a plant in a yard in Thermal, CA. The owner
of that property, who did not speak English, called this
plant "Flor de Texas". FIs. first white, about 2 days lat-
er turning rose-pink. Flowers last about 5 days.
