At edge of old field near drainage; on floodplain
along the Savannah River. Site #65 (Lat. 34#®?f|l*|
Long. 82°40,00"), about 4.5 miles north of the
S. C. 72 bridge over the Savannah River; just east
of the southern tip of McCalla Island. Below the
475-ft. contour (full pool for proposed Russell
Lake). Area to be impounded in mid-1980*s.
