87 approx. 1 mile south of jet of Hwy 87 and old Slate Creek Road (FSR
26?). In creekbed, west side. Approx. 100 yards past the tunnel south of
the parking area, right beside highway bank stabilizer.

Habitat: In rocky creekbed, often heavily disturbed by large runoff load
Assoc, spp: Salix laevigata, Cynodon dactylon
Notes: All Tamarix in the area have been recently knocked over from high
flow. This is re-sprout growth from downed plant. Less than 10 plants
seen in area.
