(by air) SW of El Condor, vicinity of the “linea roja” delimiting the boundary of Parque Nacional Amboro. 17°28’S, 64°09’W. alt. 500 m. Moderate slopes at base of easternmost Andean foothills. Tropical evergreen forest, with Iriartea, Talauma boliviano, only selective logging of Swietenia macrophylla and other species about 12 years ago. Guarea pterorrhachis. Clump of shrubs 4 m. tall; sap milky. Monoecious; female spike green, erect; male spikes more spreading and pinkish. Coll.: M. Nee & E. Chavez 51485 19 Nov. 2000 03924857
