Moderate slopes at base of easternmost Andean foothills.
Tropical evergreen forest, with Iriartea, Talauma boliviano,
only selective logging of Swietenia macrophylla and other
species about 12 years ago. Guarea pterorrhachis.
Clump of shrubs 4 m. tall; sap milky. Monoecious; female
spike green, erect; male spikes more spreading and pinkish.
