Euphorbiaceae Acalypha amentacea Roxb. ssp. wilkesiana (Müll. Arg.) Fosb. det. M. Nee, 2004 DEPTO. Santa Cruz, Prov. A. IBANEZ: Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Barrio Macdonald, ca. 1.5 km N of center of the city. Residential area on sandy soil. 17°45.9’S, 63°11.1’W alt. 420 m. Ornamental shrub 1.5 m. tall. Leaves irregularly blotched with yellow-green and many of them deformed; I find this cultivar to be more grotesque than attractive. Stigmas red, not very showy. Coll.: M.
