FLORA OF MEXICO SEME OF NAXARIT CALIFORNIA POLYTECHNIC STKHS DNWERSITY Adiantiim (Adiantaceae) On road just above laguna Santa Maria (turn off 12 mi. S. of Tepic). Heavy tropical forests. A fepiphytes, not too many ferns, some Begonias Bigniaceae (trees), and many Legumes. Beginning of rainy season. Most ferns are sterile because of young fronds. Unbranched, common. 6"-8" high. R. J.
