In mesic, hardwood area along small, Intermittent
stream flowing east into the Savannah River. Site
#3 (Lat. 34°03,39"; Long. 82°38,45"), about 0.4 mile
south of the Ga. 72 bridge over the Savannah River.
Below the 475-ft. contour (full pool for proposed
Russell Lake; impoundment of the Savannah River
scheduled for the mid-1980,s).
