Morphology (size, etc.) was consistent at this site-no large plants seen. White or light-cream farinose beneath
when young, becoming darker (yellowy cream) with age, and as the sporangia mature.

Old Loja-Zamora road, between Sabanilla and Zamora. Common on bases of disturbed
south-facing roadside (thin soil with mosses and those reddish leafy liverworts over
rockface), with Elaphoglossum spp., orchids, etc.
