The New York Botanical Garden Plants of BOLIVIA Bromeliaceae Tillandsia tricholepis Baker det. M. Nee, 2000 Depto. Santa Cruz, Prov. Cordillera, 2.5 km. E of Comunidad Salinas from turnoff of the Camiri-Cuevo highway. Dry chaco woodland, Ziziphus mistol, Caesalpinia paraguariensis, Gymnosporia spinosa, Capparis speciosa, C. retusa, Trachypteris pinnata. 20°13’S, 63°26’W. alt. 880 m.
