Epiphyte on low branches. Leaves pliable and leathery, strongly
suffused dark violet on both faces. Peduncle erect with rosy-ma
roon bracts; in inflorescence, bracts yellow-suffused salmon or
slightly maroon. Flowers (not yet mature) greenish-yellow becom
ing deep yellow toward apex.
Edo. TACHIRA: carretera Rubio-Delicias, 20 km arriba
de Bramón, cerca de El Pabellón, en bosque siempre-
