thallus: brown, rimose-areolate ar edge to verrucose-areolate in center, most convex areoles have
thick white pruina starting (see JH4561)
medulla: K-
apothecia: 1-2 per areole, black, epruinose, sunken with somewhat raised pale rims often in larger
verrucae than surrounding areoles
epihymenium: brown
paraphyses: very moniliform and -broad
spores: 8 per ascus?, 20 * 10 pm
conidia: 7-13 pm
