Celastrus orbiculatus Thunb.
NEW YORK, SUFFOLK CO.: Huntington Station, in Paumonek
Wetland, west of Walt Whitman High School, at the western edge of
the site, just east of Paumonek Drive. Vigorous, shrubby vine. Orange
fruit capsule. Growing in an Oak-Hickory Mesic Woodland with Acer
platanoides, Robinia pseudoacacia, Artemisia vulgaris, Alliaria
petiolata, and Prunus.
