Arid thorn scrubland on slopes and brushy edges of
irrigated fields in the valley bottom, with Ruprechtia
triflora, Bougainvillea campanulata, B. berberidifolia,
Capparis speciosa, Pereskia diaz-romeroana, Cleistocactus
candelilla, Quiabentia verticillata.
Shrub. Petals pale yellow. This individual has larger leaves
than 53666, but this falls within the normal variation in leaf
size of P. diazromeroana depending on individual growing
conditions.
