PLANTS OF COSTA RICA BROMELIACEAE Tillandsia subulifera Mez Det. J.R. Grant 29/1/1992 Dups. (CR, MARY, NY, SEL) Petals lemon-yellow with a thin magenta-red margin at the begining of anthesis, turning coral-salmon in maturity. Sepals and floral bracts light green. Epiphyte on tree along roadside adjacent to pasture. Other epiphytes on the same tree include Catopsis nutans, Tillandsia balbisiana, and Guzmania monostachia.
