PLANTS OF COSTA RICA BROMELIACEAE Tillandsia longifolia Bak. Dups. (CR, DUKE, F, MO^N^RM, SEL, TEX, UNO, WS) Large tripinnate epiphyte. Plant flowering 192 cm tall. Scape 81 cm tall, inflorescence 111 cm tall, leaves 130 cm long. Foliar bracts magenta, carinate, 7 mm long, apiculate. Floral bracts 15 mm long, carinate, magenta, not exceeding sepals. Sepals 15-16 mm long, the adaxial pair carinate, magenta marginally and green medially, minuteley apiculate. Fruit 22-35 mm long, trigonal, each side 5 mm wide, dark green with hue of magenta.
