CA Ferns of Jalisco, Mexico Municipio Zapopan ANEMIACEAE Anemia karwinskyana (C.Presl) Prantl sensu Mickel & Smith 2004, Pteridophytes of Mexico. Sterile leaves were common, but fertile ones were all dead. There was another (?) Anemia at this site, with more-divided leaves, which had young fertile material (CJR3113). C.J.Rothfels #3114, with P.Rothfels, J.Beck, G.Yatskievych, A.Larsson, R.Dyer, A.J.Reyes García. Determination: C.J.Rothfels, September 2009 Mirador Doctor Atl, on Hwy 54, N. of Guadalajara. Slope opposite the mirador parking area. Very common in rocky pastured grassy slope, with Adiantum patens (UC), etc. 2009-August-9. N20.79457 W103.34307 +/-10m. WGS 84. 1359 m elevation.
