Anemia hirsuta (L.) Sw.
sensu Mickel & Smith 2004, Pteridophytes of Mexico.
Potentially three different Anemia species collected in the vicinity: CJR 3179 on more mesic sites, with rounder
pinnules; 3186 with divided lacerate pinnules; and 3187 with an intermediate degree of cutting (3186 and 87 of
drier rockier sites). This is, or is near to, the type locality for Anemia multiplex.

rocky/gravelly slope with scattered oaks and rich forb layer. With Dryopteris,
Cheilanthes, Polypodium, Adiantum patens, etc.

Duplicates: 3, to: MEXU, DUKE, NY. Chromosome material fixed.
