Approx. 6km N of Mirador Dr. Atl on Hwy 54, in a barranca del Rio Verde. North of
Guadalajara. Uncommon in thin pockets of mossy soil on limestone boulders in rich
forested slope and stream-sides, with Cheilanthes skinneri, Adiantum spp., Asplenium cf.
minimum, Celtis, Ficus, Spondias, Enterolobium, Acacia, etc.
2009-August-9. N20.82764 W103.34535 +/-200m. 1225*4 elevation.
Duplicates: 3, to: MEXU, DUKE, NY. Chromosome material fixed. Chromosome and silica material come
from the small plant, with rhizome, on the DUKE sheet.
