BOSQUE CADUCIFOLIO. Forest originally of Quercus,
Liquidambar macrophylla, now mostly heavily cut and
disturbed and replaced by only Alnus acuminata ssp.
arguta, Pteridium aquilinum.
Epiphyte. Bases of leaves inflated, green with purple
mottling.
