Pineapple. Growing high on cliffs w/
grass/ Basal rosette of thick pointed green
lvs. w/ sharp barbs on leaf margins. Stiff
plants, difficult to handle, infl. stalk
about .5m high. Central stalk w/ many .
reddish bracts overk pping- also w/ barbs
on margins. Stalk is like a club w/ large
seeds located in club head between bracts.

pinapple
